3. We talked about the way in which cathedrals are used to hold special religious ceremonies, like weddings and funerals. Westminster Abbey, in London, is not technically a cathedral (it's an abbey, which is slightly different), but it was built in the Gothic architectural style and serves many of the purposes of a cathedral. Please watch this short video showing highlights of the wedding of Prince William and Princess Kate, which gives you a sense of a ceremonial wedding.
